第221章 推理

　“I'not a burglar. I've proved it for self， but I 't find a burglar. Let's wait for the police.（我不是盜竊者，我已經為自己證明了，但是我找不到盜竊者，我們還是等警察吧。）”

　“We found out that only three people were suspect， and you have ruled out， then they are two.（我們查出來只有三個人有嫌疑，你已經排除，那麼就剩他們兩了。）”東方男子指了指顧星喬和宋七梧，“ If they could not prove theelves， they could only wait for the police to d hand theover to the police.（他們無法為自己證明的話，只能等警察來了，把他們交給警察了。）”

　東方男子有些戲謔的看著顧星喬和宋七梧，似乎並不擔心找不到盜竊者或者他需要賠償煙斗的費用。

　這時候，倫敦警察已經到了，因為只是一起失竊案，而且失竊的東西只是一個不值錢的煙斗，所以他們並不重視，出警很慢。

　“It's a lovely day today， but unfortunately， I've entered ahieves. How are you? Hudson?（今天天氣真不錯，可遺憾的是又遭遇了盜竊者，你好嗎？赫德森。）”

　“Yes， Edward. It's ti for you. We've found the thieves. You just have to take theback for questioning.（是的，愛德華，你來得可真是時候，我們已經找到了盜竊者，你只需將他們帶回去詢問即可）”

　愛德華感到很意外，“Is it? God bless，you found the thieves.Tell who is the thief this ti.（是嗎？上帝保佑，你們居然找到了盜竊者，告訴我這次的盜竊者是誰？）”

　“I hate to believe it， but the fact is， the thieves were this handso gentlen and his beautiful wife， because they couldn't prove that they didn't steal a pipe.（我很不願意相信，但事實就是，盜竊者是這位英俊的先生和他的美麗的太太，因為他們無法證明自己沒有盜竊煙斗。）”說話的是東方男子。

　“Ok，thank you.（好的，謝謝）”愛德華警官向東方男子道了謝，拿出手銬準備將顧星喬和宋七梧拷起來。

　宋七梧看了顧星喬一眼，見他不打算說話，便開口道，“Wait.（等等）”

　“Mada what else do you o defend?（女士，你還有什麼要辯解的嗎？）”愛德華警官問。

　宋七梧說，“My husband and I are not thieves， and we know who the thieves are.（我和我丈夫不是盜竊者，並且我們知道盜竊者是誰。）”

　顧星喬看著宋七梧微微一笑，他就知道，他的媳婦早已洞察了一切，小小一個失竊案，不值得大動干戈，就讓這些人見識一下中國人的厲害，給了宋七梧一個“媳婦兒最棒”的眼神，他便坐在一旁喝咖啡了。

　“What? You say you know who the thief is? Are you kidding， lady?（什麼？你說你知道盜竊者是誰？女士，你在開玩笑嗎？）”愛德華警官不相信。

　其他人也都用懷疑的眼光看著宋七梧，開始竊竊私語。

　面對大家的質疑，宋七梧不慌不忙，“I'not kidding you， officer Edward. After all， I don't want to waste honeyon in solving a case.（我沒空跟你開玩笑，愛德華警官，畢竟我不想把蜜月時間浪費在破案上。）”

　愛德華警官有些驚訝，原來這對看起來很恩愛的年輕夫妻是來度蜜月的，蜜月旅行遇到這種事，恐怕他們會認為這次倫敦之情不太愉快了，而且很少有人蜜月選擇來參觀福爾摩斯博物館的。

　愛德華警官也想知道到底誰是盜竊者，“Lady， you tell who is thieves?（女士，請你告訴我，誰是盜竊者？）”

　宋七梧莞爾一笑，“（我猜是館主，或者是你。）”宋七梧指指東方男子。

　館主，東方男子，愛德華警官，還有其他參觀者，皆露出吃驚的表情，尤其東方男子更驚詫。

　“I think this lady st be joking with officer Edward. How the owner of the house steal it? And why do I steal a pipe?（我想這位夫人一定是在跟愛德華警官來玩笑呢，館主怎麼可能監守自盜？而我又為什麼要盜竊煙斗？）”東方男子辯駁起來。

　“All the visitors and waiters were questioned， and they all proved that they were not thieves， that the gentlen had proved hielf， and that her I nor husband had stolen， leaving you and the owner of the Hudson Pavilion.（所有的參觀者和侍者都被詢問過，他們都證明了自己不是盜竊者，這位先生也已經為自己證明過了，而我和我的丈夫也沒有盜竊，那就只剩下你和赫德森館主了。）”宋七梧先用排除法，末了，還跟大家開了個玩笑，“Did the pipe fly away with its wings?（難道煙斗自己長了翅膀飛走了？）”

　“Ha ha ha...（哈哈哈……）”參觀者都哄笑起來。

　赫德森館主忽然問，“What's the reason?（理由呢？）”而且，被懷疑為盜竊者，她看起來一點也不擔心。

　宋七梧攤開手，“Maybe this is a joke. If I'not staken， Hudson and this...你怎麼稱呼？（或許這就是一個玩笑，如果我沒猜錯的話，赫德森館主和這位……你怎麼稱呼？）”宋七梧這才想起問東方男子的名字，而且是用中文問的。

　沒想到東方男子也用中文回答，“我叫林木。”

　“OK， Mr. Lin， he and Hudson， who are known， y still be friends.（行，林木先生，他和赫德森館主是認識的，或許還是朋友。）”

　林木眼中劃過一抹光亮，顧星喬沒有錯過。

　赫德森館主也驚喜的問，“Unbelievably， how do you know we know each other?（難以置信，你是如何知道我們認識的？）”

　“First， he was very skillful when he asked you questions， and he was faliar with the two roo. Sed， when he proposed that the theft should be solved by ourselves， the owner of the Hudson Pavilion agreed unditionally. If you were not friends， I don't think the owner of the Hudson Pavilion would agree to his proposal so easily.（第一，剛才詢問大家的時候，他表現得很嫻熟，而且對這兩間屋子也很熟悉，第二，當他提出失竊事件由我們自己解決的時候，赫德森館主毫無條件的同意了，如果你們不是朋友，我想赫德森館主不會這麼輕易同意他的提議。）”

　“But that doesn't prove they're thieves.（但是，這也不能證明他們就是盜竊者啊。）”愛德華警官說，“ Lin y be a poli， so skilled at asking visitors.（或許，林也是警察，所以詢問參觀者才那麼嫻熟呢。）”

　“No， Mr. Lin is not a poli， and he knows the sa thing as officer Edward.（不，林木不是警察，而且他和愛德華警官你也同樣認識）”

　“何以見得？”林木問，他眼裡的光越發亮了。

　“因為愛德華警官無條件相信了你說的話，他進門來之後，沒有查看失竊現場，沒有詢問別人，你說什麼就是什麼。”宋七梧胸有成竹的回答。
