　　一個穿著藍色聯邦正服的健壯老人走在金屬通道發出聲音，從他走路的習慣和無意中散發的危險氣質可以看出他年輕的時候一定上過戰場而且是高烈度的死亡戰場。

　　前方的金屬通道牆壁上有一處厚厚的鋼化玻璃幕牆，外面藍色的紫菱星和無數穿梭機證明這裡並不是地面而是在它的衛星——天月。

　　—滴—

　　“ granted. ， admiral (尼古拉，僅在此翻譯).”

　　驗證通過的電子音響起，這個名叫尼古拉的上將整理一下軍裝後進入了的大廳內部。

　　大廳成圓形，中央的很大一部分空間是空著的，呈階梯的座位擺滿了整個邊緣到中央的演講台。雖然座位很多但是僅有幾個座位上坐著人。

　　而上將因為軍銜和職位原因坐在了第一排。

　　原本被天花板上的燈照射的明亮的大廳瞬間熄滅。而空著的座位上被全息投影出現了一個個與真人無異的投影，如果不是不時的閃爍可能會忘記這是個投影。

　　中央的演講台上投影出了一個放大的頭髮花白的老人的身影。

　　“Good evening， everybody. I'm President cassius.(各位晚上好，我是總統卡西斯。)”

　　“Our time is ， so get right to the point.(我們的時間寶貴，因此直接步入主題。)

　　“A war， a war against the white feather empire or even a world war.(一場戰爭，對白羽帝國的戰爭甚至是會演變為世界大戰的戰爭。)”

　　下面的眾多議員和將軍除了少數人和坐在第一排的人外全部在小聲交談。

　　“Why do we say that? We need an ， Mr. President.(為什麽這麽說，我們需要一個解釋，總統閣下)”坐在下面的一名議員按下按鈕發言到，而且周圍的議員們並沒有反對，因為這正是他們想知道的。

　　“I see a lot of new faces， so let me why this is the issue.(我看到了許多新面孔，所以我講解一下為什麽是這個議題。)”

　　“Do you know the war 30 years ago?(大家知道三十年前的戰爭嗎?)”

　　“You mean the war against the republic of David， Mr. President?(您是說對戴維安共和國的戰爭嗎，總統閣下?)”那個議員繼續說道。

　　“Yes， the lost war. A costly war between three (是的，那場失敗的戰爭。三大國付出巨大代價的戰爭。

)”　　“But does that have anything to do with the war effort， Mr. President?(但那跟現在的備戰有事嗎關系嗎，總統閣下?)”下面剛才議論的議員全部質問道著卡西斯總統，他們不知道為什麽將要發動這場根本沒有利益的戰爭。

　　“Be quiet！ Here's admiral ， who lived through the war.(安靜！下面由尼古拉上將講解，他是那場戰爭的親身經歷者。)”卡西斯總統製止了開始混亂的議會，讓坐在下面的尼古拉上將上台講解。

　　“Ladies and gentlemen， I'm MacArthur.(各位議員，我是尼古拉·麥克阿瑟。)”講台上的影像換成了尼古拉上將飽經戰火的硬朗的臉。

　　“Do you think that the ， the white feather empire， and the southeast really went to war against the republic of David just for land?(你們難道認為當年聯邦、白羽帝國、東南聯合對戴維安共和國開戰真的僅僅是為了土地嗎?)”

　　“Isn't it， general ?(難道不是嗎，尼古拉將軍?)”一位女性議員按下了按鈕提問道。

　　尼古拉看了看她，繼續說道。

　　“Of course not， folks. The universe is very big！ With more resources and more land than we can take， why would we want to take over a republic of which is only 603，700 square kilometers?(當然不是，各位。宇宙很大！有我們拿不完的資源和土地我們為什麽要去搶奪一個國土面積僅為60.37萬平方公裡的戴維安共和國?)”尼古拉上將拋出了問題。

　　“Do you mean that the republic of David has what we need， general ?(那您的意思是戴維安共和國有我們需要的東西嗎，尼古拉將軍?)”一位男性議員說出了猜想。

　　尼古拉上將笑了笑。

　　“You were half right， Sir. It's not that the republic of David has what we need， it's that it has what we need under the ground！(你隻猜對了一半，閣下。不是戴維安共和國有我們需要的東西而是它的地下有我們需要的東西！)”

　　全場嘩然，比剛才說要備戰的時候更加混亂。

　　“Hear me out， councillor！(聽我說完，各位議員！)”

　　等到議會再次安靜尼古拉上將才說道。

　　“After the of the republic of David， three countries sent agents and spies.(當初在發現了戴維安共和國的異樣之後，有三個國家派出特工並讓間諜行動。”

　　“The ， the white feather empire and the southeast.(也就是聯邦、白羽帝國和東南聯合。)”

　　“After a lot of people and exchanging with two other countries， we found a site under the republic of ， a site that is far more technologically advanced than we are today！(付出了眾多的人員並和另外兩國交換情報後，我們發現了戴維安共和國的地下有一處遺跡，一個科技水平遠超現在人類的遺跡！)”

　　所有議員徹底驚恐了，這不亞於睡醒一覺後世界大戰爆發並且還輸了那種驚恐。

　　“You all know about davian's “faint rattle“ virus！ From the ruins！(你們都知道戴維安的“昏響”病毒吧！就是從遺跡中拿到的！)”

　　“We had hoped to resolve the war quickly through a blitzkrieg to avoid letting more countries know about it. But it has proved impossible， and the eyes of the world are now on it.(我們原本希望通過一場閃電戰迅速解決戰爭，避免讓更多的國家知道這件事。但是事實已經證明了不可行，而且現在全球的眼睛都在盯著那裡。)”

　　“The white feather empire and the southeast alliance have also been secretly sending teams into the affected areas to search for over the past 30 years.(白羽帝國和東南聯合也在這30年裡不斷秘密的派出小隊深入感染區搜索相關資料。)”尼古拉上將的背後出現了兩個國家派出小隊的照片。

　　看到該議案全票通過卡西斯總統露出了笑容。

　　“With all of you！ This will go down in history！ God bless ！(各位！這將會載入史冊！天佑美思科聯邦！)”

　　“God bless ！(天佑美思科聯邦。)”所有議員站起呐喊著。

　　這場注定會發生的戰爭究竟距離現在的和平還有多遠呢……
